Using mobile phone in feedback rehabilitation
Mynařík, Ondřej ; Žalud, Luděk (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate sensors used in Android mobile phones for measuring inclination and their comparation with precise reference sensor Xsens. Another goal is to create Android application for measuring inclination of balance desk. This application communicates with a computer by Bluetooth. Results indicates that sensors in mobile phones are sufficient enough to replace the precise sensor Xsens for measuring inclination of balance desk. Based on the results mobile application was created. Using a mobile phone with this application can replace Xsens, which results in rapid decrease of the price and the possible use in rehabilitation centers or by patients.

Tomáš Veselouš Supervisor: PhDr. Tereza Nováková, Ph.D. Title: Screening of hypermobility, shortened muscle groups and trunk stability in professional soldiers Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to determine and verify the condition of the musculoskeletal system, especially hypermobility according to Beighton, shortened muscle groups according to Janda and trunk stability according to Kolář in a specific group, namely in soldiers of the 13th Artillery Regiment of the Army of the Czech Republic. Other objectives were to verify the relationship between hypermobility and trunk stability, between hamstrings and trunk stability, and finally between shortened muscle groups and stretching before and after training. Methods: The research involved 171 soldiers of the 13th Artillery Regiment of the Army of the Czech Republic. Participants were subjected to three tests: testing of hypermobility according to Beighton, examination of shortened muscle groups according to Janda and examination of trunk stability according to Kolář. The obtained data were processed using descriptive statistics and Pearson's chi-square test. Results: Out of the total number of 171 participants, 24.6% were hypermobile. When examining shortened muscles groups test, the largest proportion of shortening occurred in the...
Profile of youth footballers as goalkeepers
Zvoníček, Matěj ; Gryc, Tomáš (advisor) ; Bujnovský, David (referee)
Title: Profile of youth footballers as goalkeepers Objectives: The objective of this study was to compare selected parameters of body composition, level of static postural stability and level of lower extremities explosive strength between male and female goalkeepers in soccer and between selected age categories. Methods: A total of 33 male (n = 22) and female (n = 11) soccer goalkeepers participated in the study. They were divided into six test groups based on gender and age category (14-15, 16- 17 and 18-19 years) for performance assessment. These groups were assessed for basic anthropometric data (body height and weight), body composition parameters (% body fat, fat free mass), and level of static postural stability (deviations of the total center of pressure path) in four types of stands (narrow stand open eyes/closed eyes, right/left lower limb stand) and lower extremities explosive strength (jump height, relative force impulse, relative maximum force produced) in four types of jumps (counter movement jump free arms, counter movement jump, squat jump, drop jump). We used a Tanita MC-980MA bioimpedance device (Tanita Corporation, Japan) to assess body composition parameters, a Footscan pressure plates (RSscan International, Belgium) to assess postural stability, and a KISTLER 8611 force plates...

Title: Possibilities of using elements from the DNS program for children with multiple disabilities Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of applying exercises from the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization concept using the DNS FIT KID exercise program in children with multiple disabilities. Methods: The following measures were used for data collection: selected tests from the MOBAK 3-4 battery for screening motor skills, Mathias test, Thomayer test, postural stability assessment (standing on one leg and walking on the line) and DNS FIT KID tests. The DNS FIT KID exercise program was implemented and applied in psychomotor games classes. Results: When comparing the input and output results, the boys showed an improvement in the measured differences. Thus, the applied exercise program DNS FIT KID was chosen in an appropriate form for pupils with multiple disabilities, which indicates a positive effect of its use in the group of children studied. KEYWORDS children with combined disabilities; children with visual impairment; spinal stabilization system; postural stability; DNS; DNS FIT KID; psychomotor games
Idiopathic scoliosis in relation to defective position of the lower extremities and the sole of the feet
Sviteková, Sophie ; Oplatková, Lenka (advisor) ; Šafářová, Marcela (referee)
The following bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of the relationship between idiopathic scoliosis and defective position of the lower limbs and feet. At first, the thesis analyses the theoretical side of the problem - biomechanics and kinesiology of the spine and lower limbs, clasification of scoliosis and different types, postural stability, gait. In the following chapter, the thesis focuses on the issue from a practical side of view, which includes an examination of patients from different views, from behind, from the side, from the front and on a podoscope (physiosensing), which measures the static and dynamic load of the feet. As part of the examination, various assymetries of the spine and lower limbs are investigated in connection with idiopathic scoliosis. The results of all the measurements of the patients are in the final chapter compared to each other and subsequently, in the discussion part, with results examined by different studies dealing with the same issues. We try to find out if their results match with ours. The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to find out, what impact have spine curvatures on the posture of the pelvis, lower limbs, feet and also the other way around. We are also proving the mutual connection between individual body segments which together make up one complex...

Ševčík, Marek ; Kučerová, Klára (advisor) ; Čakrt, Ondřej (referee)
Disorders of postural stability seriously impair the quality of life. Falls are more common in the elderly, where they can have very serious consequences. However, this issue does not always concern only seniors. These disorders can be caused by a number of reasons. The diploma thesis is devoted to postural stability in patients with vestibular disorders. The aim of the theoretical part of the work is to present comprehensive information on the control of postural stability, its disruption and the integration of sensory systems needed for its maintenance. Further chapters describe postural control assessment and rehabilitation options. The aim of the experimental part was to determine the effect of vestibular rehabilitation on postural control. The evaluation was carried out with the help of a static stabilometric platform Kistler®. 9 patients with postural stability disorder in the chronic stage participated in the research part. A total of 5 men and 4 women, aged from 35 to 78 years, on average 59 with SD ± 16 years, with peripheral (4), central (4) or combined (1) vestibular disorders were exposed to a 3- month rehabilitation program. Before starting the vestibular rehabilitation program, patients were examined for static stabilometry using the CTSIB and SLST tests. Every month, the...
